Researcher In Reproductive Demography

Role Overview

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to the UKRI funded project. The postdoctoral researcher will focus on research at the intersection of social and biological determinants of fertility behaviour, with an emphasis on maternal and reproductive health. The candidate will manage academic and administrative activities, adapt existing and develop new research methodologies, and collaborate on research publications.

To be considered, candidates must hold or be close to completion of a PhD/DPhil in Demography, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, Public/Population Health, Geography, Global Affairs, or a related field, have experience in reproductive demography, and possess specialist knowledge within established research programmes. Experience writing computer code in Stata and/or R for data analysis and visualisation, and excellent communication skills are required.

This post is full-time (part-time considered) and is a fixed-term position for 2 years.
