Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Research Scientist
Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, South Parks Road, Oxford – a postdoctoral position is available in Dr Ivan Ahel’s group. The role focuses on studying ADP‑ribosylation signalling in genome stability. The post‑holder will manage own academic research, adapt existing techniques and develop new experimental protocols. Working with limited supervision, you will design and execute experiments to achieve the project goals.
Applicants should hold a PhD, or be close to completion of a PhD in Biology or a related subject. Candidates must have a high level of competence in biochemistry and structural biology, with relevant experience demonstrated by first‑author publications in high‑profile journals. The ideal candidate is organised, highly motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
