Location & Working Hours

Oxfam House – Oxford, United Kingdom. Hybrid workplace. 36 hours per week.

£28,057 – £30,337 per annum (depending on experience).

The merchandiser will partner with the buying team to plan, develop and deliver an ethical, commercial and profitable product range for shops, wholesale and online channels.

• Plan, develop and deliver merchandise for retail, wholesale and online channels.
• Analyse trading patterns across channels and optimise sales and supply.
• Control stock levels against plan and challenge stock decisions based on performance.
• Manage the department open‑to‑buy budget, identifying risks and opportunities to maintain flexibility.
• Build relationships with a global ethical, fair‑trade supply base and internal stakeholders.
• Use Excel and other systems to analyse data and drive decision making.
• Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

• Previous merchandising experience at merchandiser, junior merchandiser or assistant level.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player with drive to achieve results.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
• High level of numeracy, computer literacy and Excel proficiency.
• Decisive and self‑starter.
