Customer Team Member

Overview

As a Customer Team Member, you'll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving Co-op store, helping deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, bakery, or helping with online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. You’ll play a key role in making life easier for our customers and promoting Co-op membership.

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, help the store run smoothly, and assist with issues as they arise
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, contributing to daily operations to create a great shopping experience
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and dates, and maintain stock accuracy
• Ensure store safety and compliance with policies, including correct pricing, dates, and temperatures
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with the local community
• Assist with bakery preparation and other store tasks as required to support team performance

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential)

Closing shifts from mid-afternoon through to late evening and close, with flexible availability across the week to include at least one weekend shift. Availability details discussed at interview.
