At Oxfam, we're not just selling pre‑loved items and unique finds – we're working together to build a radically better world. With your help, we will turn pre‑loved treasures into resources that empower communities worldwide.

As a till volunteer, you'll be the friendly face of our shop, handling customer transactions with a smile. You'll provide top customer service and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back!

• Chatting to customers, giving great service on the till.
• Selecting, sorting, and pricing donated stock.
• Visual merchandising: creating eye‑catching window and in‑store displays.
• Accepting donations from members of the public, speaking to the donors and asking them a few questions.
• Labeling donations as instructed to maximise income.
• Occasionally lifting boxes, with comprehensive health and safety training provided.

• Reliable and punctual for all volunteering sessions.
• Open to learning; no prior experience required as full training and support are provided.
• Team‑player who collaborates effectively with others.
• Confident in speaking with people and following instructions to complete tasks.

• Some lunch and travel costs paid (speak to the Manager first to understand what is covered).
