Job Overview

Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Executive / Internal Business Development Executive required to join a global leading engineering manufacturer.

The successful candidate will be office based in Oxford dealing with inbound and outbound sales enquiries, generating new business opportunities and managing key accounts for compressed air products and solutions. Full product training will be provided.

• Deal with inbound quote enquiries for compressed air solutions and convert them to revenue.
• Liaise with the engineering team and arrange site visits for follow-ups, costings of service contracts, and system installations.
• Identify higher‑value work to grow the quotes function and contribute to company growth.
• Generate new business opportunities and manage key accounts within the compressed air industry.

• £30,000 to £40,000 annual salary

• Previous experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Internal Account Manager, or similar with exposure to compressed air.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with engineers, suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• A desire to progress into people management as the business grows.
• Experience in engineering sales such as compressed air, pneumatics, hydraulics, MRO, rotating equipment, pumps, valves, filtration, HVAC, or a comparable product.
• Service Engineers with hands‑on experience in compressed air, pneumatics or similar looking to transition into sales are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to commute to the office in Oxford daily.

Office based in Oxford.
