Aztrum Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) that is looking to recruit an ambitious Business Development Manager to join its expanding sales team. The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new clients across a variety of industries. You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation through to presenting tailored solutions and closing deals.

This is a true new business role where you'll build your own pipeline through outbound sales activity, including cold calling, email outreach, Linked In networking, referrals, and attending networking events.

Working closely with technical consultants, you'll gain a strong understanding of each client's requirements before delivering bespoke IT solutions that help them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity.
Build, manage, and develop a healthy sales pipeline.
Identify and qualify prospective customers across multiple sectors.
Develop relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Conduct consultative meetings to understand customer challenges and requirements.
Present tailored solutions across Managed IT, Cloud, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Business Continuity.
Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports.
Collaborate with technical and service delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer onboarding process.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in B2B sales, business development, lead generation, or technology sales.
Confident prospecting and generating new business through outbound activity.
A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Commercially aware, self-motivated, and target driven.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools.
Ambitious, resilient, and eager to build a long-term career within the technology sector.

Previous experience selling Managed IT Services or IT solutions would be advantageous but isn't essential. If you have the drive to win new business and a passion for sales, we'd love to hear from you.
