Area Sales Manager – Oxford Homebased / Field Sales

Up to £40,000+ with bonuses, company car & home‑based contract.

Kff is a regional food wholesaler with around 250 colleagues based near Maidstone, Kent. As part of Sysco, the world’s largest food service provider, kff supplies local pub, restaurant customers and delivers directly to caterers. We have a family feel and a close‑knit team with ambitious growth plans.

Responsibilities
  • Gain, grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth versus targets.
  • Research target audience and opportunities in your territory.
  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships through face‑to‑face meetings and constant selling.
  • Onboard new customers effectively while maintaining close working relationships with existing accounts and tracking activity.
  • Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  • Understand competitor activity and proposals to ensure you offer the best local solutions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in field sales or account management, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Commercially astute with a strong drive to win new business and optimise existing accounts.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel and comfortable building and maintaining relationships.
  • Must have a passion for sales and a strong customer‑centric mindset.
  • Having a food background is a plus but not essential.
