About the Role We are working with a growing apprenticeship training provider rated Good by Ofsted, who are looking to appoint a Sales Administrator / Business Development Support professional to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys research, outreach and relationship‑building, and who wants to play a key role in supporting business growth. You’ll work closely with the Business Development Manager, providing hands‑on support across lead generation, employer outreach and appointment booking.
The role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to develop commercially within the apprenticeship and skills sector.
Research and identify potential employer leads across key markets, including:
Identify the right decision‑makers and contacts within target organisations.
- Carry out targeted outreach via:
Email, Linked In, Telephone (confidence picking up the phone is essential) - Support Linked In activity and employer engagement
- Follow up responses and nurture early‑stage interest
- Book qualified appointments and discovery calls for the Business Development Manager
- Support diary coordination and meeting preparation
- Track outreach activity, outcomes and progress within the CRM
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, recruitment or business development support
- Confident, proactive and comfortable speaking with employers
- Target focused
- Enjoys working closely as part of a small, fast‑moving team
- Keen to grow commercially and build a long‑term career
- Aligned with business goals and growth
- Experience in apprenticeships or training is helpful but not essential
