Emergency Response Officer – MINI Plant Oxford
Location: MINI Plant Oxford
Salary: £33,109.44 per annum (based on 4 on 4 off)
Hours: 12‑hour shifts (days, nights & weekends – average 42 hours per week)
Overtime: Regular overtime available

As an Emergency Response Officer, you will play a critical role in keeping people, property, and operations safe.
You Will- Provide a high‑visibility, proactive security presence across the site
- Respond rapidly and effectively to fire alarms, medical incidents, and environmental emergencies
- Support and actively contribute to the Emergency Response Team, including training and daily planning
- Maintain and inspect specialist emergency equipment to operational standards
- Conduct internal and external patrols, searches, and incident reporting
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security procedures
This is a role where no two days are the same, and where the ability to stay calm, act quickly, and make decisions matters.
What We’re Looking For Essential- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Valid SIA Front Line Licence (or willingness to obtain – fully funded)
- Ability to pass a medical and fitness assessment (including breathing apparatus)
- Strong communication skills and professional approach
- Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to pass security vetting and random drug/alcohol testing
- Basic to intermediate IT skills
- FREC 3 (First Response Emergency Care) qualification
Note:
Due to breathing apparatus requirements, candidates must be clean‑shaven or maintain a tightly trimmed goatee‑style beard for safety compliance.
