A leading electrical contractor is seeking an Electrical Site Supervisor to join the team delivering the major electrical package for the prestigious Ellison Institute for Transformative Medicine (EITM) project in Oxford. This is a high-profile, long-term development within a wider £2.5–5M programme, offering stability, progression, and the chance to work on one of the region’s most advanced research facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day electrical works on site, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety.

Coordinate electricians, subcontractors, labour teams, and material deliveries.

Support the Project Manager with progress reporting, RAMS, permits, and compliance documentation.

Monitor progress using Field View (or similar) for snagging, QA, and site records.

Carry out daily and weekly briefings, toolbox talks, and lookahead planning.

Ensure installation works meet design specifications, standards, and client requirements.

Identify issues, blockers, and resource needs, escalating where required.

Maintain a strong onsite presence and uphold all H&S protocols.

Experience &

Skills:

Proven experience supervising electrical installation works on medium-to-large commercial projects.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation standards, and site procedures.

Experience using Field View or similar digital site management tools (preferred).

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams.

ECS / SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.

Proactive, organised, safety-focused, and able to drive productivity on site.
