That's where you come in. We're looking for an Accommodation Advisor to join the team- someone with a rare mix of compassion, resilience, organisation and flexibility. This is for the person who understands that rehabilitation isn't just about offering advice;

it's about rolling up your sleeves and proactively supporting individuals on their journey towards securing stable accommodation and rebuilding their lives.

About the Role:

You will be based from the prison with some cover across probation offices and will work with a caseload of individuals to provide advice and support relevant to their housing needs. You'll carry out initial assessments to understand needs and agree an action plan. This may include support to end/sustain a tenancy, find accommodation or basic budgeting advice. Whilst we don't provide accommodation, we work with organisations that do, and nurturing these relationships is key in this role.

You'll travel between sites, meeting people where they are, so no day will be the same and the ability to travel is essential. What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborating with key partners:
You'll work alongside probation and other stakeholders to secure housing solutions i.e local authorities, housing strategy teams and landlords. Caseload management:
You'll manage multiple individuals, balancing their needs while keeping up with all the related admin. Working to KPI's:

Keep thorough records of all your work on our IT system, ensuring progress is properly tracked.

What We're Looking For:

Relationship Building:
You're able to connect with people at all levels, engaging with key stakeholders within prisons and probation. You will build relationships with service users in a way that's genuine, promotes a sense of trust and is non-judgmental. IT and Administrative skills:
Keeping meticulous records of every interaction within strict set timelines to measure client progress and ensure effective interventions. Safeguarding awareness:
You are supporting complex individuals at a challenging time in their lives and will need to be able to identify any safeguarding risks. Ownership:
You will be the sort of person who thrives on taking ownership, even during the busiest of times and is motivated by getting results. This role will require flexibility to travel when needed. We particularly welcome applications from those with experience in housing and an awareness of housing legislation
