Join our dedicated Family Solutions Team in Oxfordshire as a Children's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions that promote the wellbeing and safety of children. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure that children's needs are met effectively.
Key responsibilities include:- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
- Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
