Software Engineer (.Net

Laboris Solutions are working with a privately-owned company originally formed around technology from Oxford University. Headquartered in the UK with overseas subsidiaries, the company has established a reputation for rapid delivery of specialist equipment within industrial environments.

The company seeks a new software engineer to work on multiple automation and monitoring projects, including the development of a web-based analytics platform for IoT sensor data.

This is a permanent position, on-site at our offices in Oxfordshire. Ideally, you will be locally based, or within 45 minutes commute.

• Strong theoretical background in computer science
• Ability to integrate effectively within a multidisciplined team of engineers
• Open-mindedness towards learning new technologies
• Strong work ethic

• Educated to degree or master’s-level in computer science or a related discipline
• At least two years of experience in a relevant software development position

Tangible and credible experience is required in the following:

• Strong C# development experience using .NET8 or newer
• Good understanding of using Git for software version control
• Emphasis on code quality and testing methodologies

Experience in one or more of the following would be beneficial:

• Databases and Entity Framework
