Senior Software Engineer

We’re partnering with a cutting-edge technology company building AI-driven software within a highly complex scientific and data-rich environment. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their collaborative engineering team and help scale the backend systems powering their platform.

This is a hands-on role focused on building reliable, scalable applications and APIs using Python, while contributing to technical direction, engineering standards, and overall platform architecture. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional technical teams, solving challenging problems in a fast-moving environment.

• Strong commercial experience with Python
• Experience building backend services and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• A solid understanding of scalable software design and engineering best practices
• Experience working with cloud platforms and containerised environments
• Someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and mentoring within engineering teams
