Their primary focus is on execution within defined parameters, applying modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, observability and data quality controls.

They may also be accountable for regular reporting or process administration within the squad.

Working in partnership with more experienced staff, their responsibilities will expand based on developing capabilities, including growing exposure to AI/ML and GenAI approaches. A key part of the role is collaborating with colleagues across Investment Technology & Distributions, Cloud Teams, and Tech departments including Enterprise Architecture to ensure designs align with enterprise standards, security and the wider Investments strategy.

What you will be doing:

Build, test, deploy and support applications and services (e.g. Streamlit or ReactJS-based tools) across the platform's Cloud environment, contributing to ongoing Cloud migration activities.

Apply AI-assisted development tooling (e.g. Git Hub Copilot) and AI/ML techniques where they add value to accelerate coding, testing, deployment and delivery.

Contribute to opportunities to apply AI/ML and GenAI across the platform, translating defined business requirements into practical, well-engineered technical solutions.

Build production-ready solutions using modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, observability and data quality controls.

Support data quality, monitoring, reporting and process administration activities to help ensure accurate and consistent outcomes.

Identify and resolve technical problems, referring more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers and end users, and partner with Cloud Teams, Enterprise Architecture and Security to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and the wider Investments strategy.

Design, develop and maintain software, data pipelines and analytical workflows that generate investment analytics and insights for end users across the Investment Technology platform.
