Named first of “7 Technologies That Could Change Heart Healthcare Forevermore” by the Robb Report, the CaRi-Heart® technology is Caristo’s flagship offering which uncovers hidden coronary inflammation, a key driver of cardiovascular disease, on routine Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA).
The technology is regulatory approved for clinical use in US, UK, Europe, and Australia and is in use with a growing number of hospitals and clinics. Multiple patents underpinning CaRi-Heart technologies have been granted in major jurisdictions around the world. AboutThe Role Overview
This individual will join a talented and expanding cross-functional engineering team developing the end-to-end software system running Caristo’s groundbreaking CaRi-Heart® technology. Will write complex code, debug issues, and solve challenging technical problems, often taking ownership of specific project areas.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include some or all of the following:
- Development and maintenance of cloud-based medical imaging software system
- Proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders and users (Operations team, hospital IT, clinicians) to deliver effective solutions to meet business needs
- Provide installation and technical support for Operations and customers
- Development and maintenance of a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipeline, including test automation
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify potential issues.
- Collaboration with engineering team, operations, research and image analysts.
- Documenting code, systems, and processes in line with Caristo quality system, ensuring that knowledge is shared and maintained
- Actively contribute to process improvement and quality objectives.
- BSc/BEng degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience in software engineering
- Experience with medical data systems and communication protocols (e.g. DICOM, FHIR, HL7)
- Proven skills in Python programming or equivalent language
- Demonstrable full stack development experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Medical imaging experience
