Our client, a leading automotive breakdown, recovery, and repair company, is seeking an experienced Roadside Vehicle Technician to join their team covering Oxford and the surrounding region. Benefits- Starting annual salary of £36,400, with bonuses and overtime leading to potential earnings of around £61,000 per year.

- 23 days of annual leave, increasing to 25 days with continuous service.

- 40 hours per week, with shifts between 6:00am and 12:00pm, and a predictable schedule known 12 months in advance.

- Respond promptly to roadside breakdown assistance requests.
- Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles on the roadside, from city cars to 4x4s and commercial vehicles.
- Work independently with a fully equipped company van to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, often in stressful situations, providing excellent customer service.
- Assess vehicle condition and determine necessary repairs to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
- Complete all required documentation and adhere to safety and operational standards.
- Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Demonstrable experience in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work across diverse vehicle types.
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Ability to work independently, methodically organise workload, and manage priorities effectively.
- Friendly, calm, and charismatic personality, comfortable assisting distressed customers in roadside situations.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to providing high-quality vehicle repairs and roadside assistance.
