Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £14.18 an hour; this increases to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility for 12 hours if desired. Colleagues should be available to work within the availability windows.

• Ensure the van and trays are clean and organised.
• Leave the back yard clean, tidy and free of rubbish.
• Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
• Load the van, checking for roadworthiness.
• Communicate with customers regarding changes to their order, substitutions, refunds for items they are unhappy with.
• Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own.
• Explain to the customer that they will not be charged for substitutions.
• Deliver during the customer's time slot.
• Call customers before arriving if early.
• Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
• Build relationships with teammates to promote team spirit.
• Be warm and welcoming, taking time to understand the customer and say “Thank you”.
• Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store.
• Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, achieving a balanced integration of home and work.
• Share ideas with Manager and colleagues on improving the store for customers.

• A UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Able to adhere to GB Domestic Driving Rules.

Additional requirements:

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have passed school leaver’s age; those working before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in roles such as warehouse, driving, or operating heavy equipment must be over 18.
