Class 1 & 2 Driver

Job Overview

OPX Recruitment is hiring HGV Drivers Class 1 and Class 2 for days and nights on multiple contracts. Positions are full‑time, temporary contract or temp‑to‑perm.

• Curtain side work, multi‑drop, trunking and store trunking to stores or depots (1 or 2 drops max).
• Deliver freight on schedule and maintain excellent customer service.
• Adapt to short‑notice changes in routes and working hours.
• Operate all routes, including night shifts; no weekend work.

• Valid Driver CPC (required) and digital tachograph card.
• Up‑to‑date CPC, no more than 6 points on licence.
• Over 21 years old, no DR10s or CDs.
• Driving experience: 1 year preferred.

Days:
Monday–Friday, start times 04:00–07:00 (earlies) and 16:00–18:00 (lates). 10‑hour or 8‑hour shift options available.

Pay:
Class 1 – £13.00‑£18.50 per hour (min 8‑hour days). Class 2 – £12.50‑£16.00 per hour.
