A21 Wheeled Loading Shovel

Based in Oxford, this full-time role operating an A21 Wheeled Loading Shovel offers £15.50 per hour. Working Monday to Friday with a 6am start, overtime is available.

The position involves running a Class 1 Wagon and Drag vehicle, undertaking scheduled deliveries and collections, and performing daily vehicle checks. Responsibilities include securing loads correctly and completing paperwork via electronic POD systems. Compliance with transport legislation is essential.

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday Full-time, start 6am Overtime available

• Operating a Class 1 Wagon & Drag vehicle safely and efficiently
• Carrying out deliveries and collections as scheduled
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
• Securing loads correctly and maintaining load safety throughout each journey
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and collections
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and drivers' hours regulations

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Previous Wagon & Drag experience is essential
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes effectively
