Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Salary: 26.5k per annum

The Role: As a Warehouse Operative, you will work within the logistics department dealing with suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (counterbalance desirable)
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Conducting regular inventory checks and stock control
• Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handling heavy lifting as required

About You: Applicants should have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will need to be proficient in using warehouse management systems and demonstrate a proactive and reliable work ethic.

Required:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
• Forklift counterbalance licence (desirable)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
