Available at enhanced rates The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and expanding warehouse operation in Reading on a temporary-to-permanent basis . This is a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment where you will be part of the inbound team, helping to unload deliveries, move stock and ensure products are processed efficiently and accurately. This role would suit someone who enjoys being active, works well under pressure and is looking for long-term, ongoing employment with the opportunity to earn additional money through overtime .

The Role As an Inbound Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a busy inbound warehouse team Breaking down and unloading pallets Manually handling and moving stock throughout the warehouse Picking products from pallets Checking and organising incoming stock Moving products to the correct warehouse locations Ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised Following all company processes and health & safety procedures Working at pace to meet operational requirements Supporting colleagues across the wider warehouse operation when required

What We Are Looking For The successful candidate will ideally have previous warehouse, logistics, picking, goods-in or distribution experience. More importantly, you will need to be:
Reliable and punctual Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods Able to work quickly while maintaining accuracy A strong team player with a positive attitude Able to follow instructions and established procedures Comfortable working to deadlines and operational targets Flexible and willing to support the wider warehouse operation Committed to securing long-term employment Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, but we will consider candidates who can demonstrate the right attitude, work ethic and reliability.

Hours & Overtime Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm There are also regular overtime opportunities available for candidates looking to increase their earnings. Monday to Friday overtime – time and a quarter Saturday – time and a half Sunday – double time Temporary to Permanent Opportunity This is not just a short-term warehouse assignment. The role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis , giving the successful candidate the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
