HR Generalist

Behind Startup Edge's next big bet is a model someone has to build, defend, and stand behind; we're hiring that someone as our HR Generalist. Few Oxnard employers pair $96,000 - $138,000 with this much business autonomy, and fewer still ask only 5 years to earn it.

• Build the 3-quarter view that survives contact with reality
• Build the model that tells you when to stop a losing business bet
• Spot when a mid-level initiative has quietly lost its sponsor
• Own the cadence that turns PHR Certification reporting into Stakeholder Management action
• Build the pricing logic that a temporary sales rep can explain in one breath
• Sequence the rollout so CA regions don't all break at once
• Decide where Startup Edge should say no so it can say yes to one thing

• The humility to revise strong opinions when the data argues back
• Judgment seasoned by at least 3 years of real consequences
• Comfort owning business decisions in a CA market
• Professionalism, integrity, and discretion with sensitive information
• Comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders at every level
