Manufacturing Engineer Manager

Overview

Join PTI Technologies as a Full-Time Manufacturing Engineer Manager. This onsite role is in Oxnard, CA, and involves leading manufacturing projects and driving excellence in aerospace manufacturing processes. You will supervise a dynamic team and participate in cost-effective method development, ensuring product quality and process safety.

• Supervise a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians, providing leadership and technical guidance.
• Spearhead the development of cost-effective manufacturing methods while ensuring product quality and process safety.
• Act as project manager, guiding your team in implementing innovative process improvements.
• Engage in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to enhance productivity across the organization.
• Prepare personnel evaluations and coordinate with other departments; maintain compliance with NADCAP processes.
• Create and maintain critical documentation; lead Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA).
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices and support new product development and workflow optimization.
• Focus on maximizing customer serviceability and driving operational excellence.

• Bachelor  degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 15+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Expert-level understanding of project management.
• Familiarity with Oracle MRP, Smar Team, and Solid Works preferred.
• Strong communication skills and data analysis abilities; proficiency in concepts such as probability, geometry, and statistics.
• Ability to define project criteria and ensure successful outcomes; strong reasoning skills.
• Experience in supervisory roles, planning and coordinating work assignments for lower-level engineers.
• Physical ability to handle and manipulate equipment and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a dynamic work environment.

Target annual compensation of $157,500, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
