Avionics tech​/Installer

Work as a team toward one common goal:

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electronic systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Test and certify systems to meet regulatory and company standards
• Document maintenance and repairs accurately
• Collaborate with mechanics and flight operations
• Use Windows, Excel, and other computer programs effectively
• Read and write English; good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned work projects
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft
• Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics systems with quality work and a positive attitude
• Work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
• Travel and work away from base when required
• Minimum of 3 years of avionics experience preferred
• Work overtime when workload demands

We are seeking an Avionics Tech/Installer with recent experience in general aviation aircraft systems, proficiency with electrical testing equipment, and knowledge of FAA regulations and standards. The candidate will work on our fleet of 10 helicopters and 10 airplanes, including customer aircraft. Aspen Helicopters operates in various sectors such as aerial surveys, executive charter, fire contracts, external load, military operations, PG&E, and agriculture.

Our fleet includes Bell 206B, 206L, 407, 212, 412, Partenavia P68C, TC, OBS, Spartacus, and SA226(B) Merlin 3B.
