Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor Salary Range: $91,000 - $173,000/ Yr.

Must be willing to relocate to Henderson, NV.

The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is responsible to make sure each engineer in his group is providing a safe working environment, sound tooling, correct procedures and accurate troubleshooting help to the operations group and to our suppliers.

• Review and approve processes, procedures and documentation provided by individual line engineers.
• Review and approve tool designs and area layouts provided by individual line engineers.
• Review and approve labor standards provided by individual line engineers.
• Oversee the implementation of new products.
• Ensure that Engineering Changes are implemented correctly and on time.
• Oversee the specification of, and justification for, capital equipment.
• Communicate effectively both horizontally with peers and customers, and vertically with management.
• Report on status of open issues and projects by departments.
• Make sure procedures in the factory are always improving.
• Meet aggressive deadlines.
• Directs and guides his engineers and helps them to grow their capabilities.
• Draft performance evaluations of staff in a timely manner.
• Conduct staff meetings for continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a flexible staff workload to fill any void in area of responsibility.
• Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to elevate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
• Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

Supervised Employees

Directly supervises employees. The supervisory responsibilities include the following: supervises in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Supervisors must also train employees, plan, assign, and direct work, address complaints and resolve problems.

  3+ years related supervisor experience and 10+ years of overall related work experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations in English. Able to speak effectively before groups, customers, employees of the organization and/or the general public.
