We’re looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Insurance Services Specialist II to support our members with advanced insurance needs and help expand our insurance portfolio. In this role, you’ll combine strong client relationship skills with technical expertise to deliver tailored insurance solutions and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
What You'll Do:- Build and maintain strong relationships with members and accounts.
- Prepare and present insurance quotes; sell commercial, health, and personal insurance policies.
- Manage insurance account records and file regulatory reports.
- Oversee insurance payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Handle renewals, reinstatements, and cancellations of policies.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate policy terms.
- Review and interpret complex insurance contracts and documents.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and conduct training sessions.
- Develop strategies to expand Ocean Air’s insurance portfolio while staying current on industry trends.
- High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in insurance sales and service, including commercial, health, and DMV-related services.
- Valid licenses in life, personal lines, commercial, and health insurance.
- Proven track record of successful sales and client management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills related to insurance scenarios.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in insurance software and industry‑specific tools.

- Work Environment: Well-lit, climate-controlled office with moderate noise levels.
- Work Schedule: Standard 40-hour workweek with occasional meetings outside normal hours.
- Travel: Minimal overnight travel (up to 5%).
