Technical Services Director

We are the VMS Co-Op, a group of fast growing companies in the Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) space. The VMS Co-Op includes OLLY and Smarty Pants and future acquisitions to come!

• Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Director of Technical Services is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of gummy production, ensuring that all processes and products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Manage technical teams (internally and externally) and work cross-functionally with operations and quality to develop and implement technical strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Oversee production processes, provide technical leadership, ensure quality assurance, lead research and development, ensure compliance with industry regulations, manage team management, manage the technical budget, and collaborate with other departments.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Technical expertise in gummy manufacturing.
• Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and innovation skills.

During the interview process, candidates will undergo an initial video screen with a member of our Talent team, followed by conversations with the Hiring Manager and other team members, and a final round of homework.
