Part‑Time Registered Nurse – Company Health & Wellness

Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a part‑time, long‑term contract at a client clinic located in Oxnard, CA. The clinic provides occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees, and the nurse will help keep employees healthy and safe through screenings, medical care, and education.

Shifts:

20 hours per week (Monday‑Thursday 7:00 am – 12:00 pm).

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
• Prior experience in occupational health, emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, family medicine, school nursing, or correctional settings.
• Recent clinical experience and strong first‑aid skills.
• Friendly, professional, and outgoing demeanor.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS and CAOHC required; NIOSH and COHN preferred.

• Conduct nursing assessments, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns.
• Provide ambulatory care for conditions such as sore throats, ear aches, rashes, and pink eye.
• Offer wellness materials and health‑promotion information.
• Assist with the delivery of the medical surveillance program.
• Provide counseling, health education, and training programs.
• Dispense over‑the‑counter medications.
• Respond to medical emergencies and administer first‑aid to employees.
