Base Pay Range

$18.00/hr – $25.00/hr

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
  • Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, and assisting members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
  • Maintain the self‑checkout area, resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam’s Club products and services, provide guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies for different membership and payment types.
  • Assist with securing and safeguarding Sam’s Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork and logs, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with company security and safety practices.
  • Assist with training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and procedures, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new program roll‑out training, and provide continuous learning and process‑improvement opportunities.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
  • Experience working with mobile retail applications.
