Cool Pak, a Bunzl company, is hiring an Outside Sales Rep to join our team in California
. Cool Pak is part of Bunzl's Agriculture Group, providing quality produce packaging, supplies, and technology to the produce grower industry. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Packaging and Label Sales and looking for a positive, collaborative environment with excellent benefits.

As an Outside Sales Rep, you will:

• Promote new products within the existing customer base.
• Cold call new accounts.
• Increase product penetration within current customers.
• Sell value‑added products such as custom print packaging, industrial bags, high‑end flexible packaging, clamshells, corrugated, packaging machinery, labels, RPC labels, soaker pads, stretch wrap, etc.
• Handle walk‑in customers, answer questions, and evaluate opportunities.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to the operational team.
• Evaluate pricing quarterly to protect margins.
• Participate in industry association functions and trade shows.
• Work with management to develop relationships with independent distributors and sales representatives.
• Identify public‑relations opportunities.
• Help develop marketing communications, including collateral, promotional items, direct mail and websites.
• Assist in new design and project development with continued product improvement.
• Collaborate with outside vendors on new materials and innovative packaging solutions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business is a plus.
• 5+ years of outside sales experience selling packaging and labels to the produce industry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding customer‑service skills and teamwork ability with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside parties.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Significant travel, sometimes with overnight stays.
• Bilingual English – Spanish is a plus.

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 plus future commission eligibility based on experience, education, and geographic location.
