Account Development Specialist

We are hiring an Account Development Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Oxnard, CA. This role is ideal for a sales support, customer success, inside sales, or account management professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, supporting B2B accounts, and helping drive sales growth in a manufacturing-related environment.

The Account Development Specialist will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Customer Service teams to support customer needs, prepare quotes and pricing, recommend products, and keep account activity organized. • Manage and support assigned customer accounts while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
• Prepare quotes, pricing, samples, product recommendations, and sales materials for customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, customer details, follow-up activity, and project information.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships through consistent communication and proactive support.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Customer Service to ensure customer requests and projects move forward efficiently.
• Track follow-ups, manage deadlines, and balance multiple customer priorities in a fast-paced B2B environment.

• 3 or more years of experience in account management, sales support, customer service, customer success, or inside sales.
• Strong communication, customer relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage customer records and sales activity.
• Experience with ERP systems, order processing platforms, or quoting systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and customer requests with accuracy and professionalism.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced B2B sales support environment.

• Experience in a B2B sales environment.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, promotional products, wholesale, or a related industry.
