Responsibilities & Skills Assessment

Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians diagnose truck problems, perform repairs, create repair plans, fill parts requisitions, tag warranty parts, submit core value parts, communicate updates to foreman daily and maintain organized, safe workstations. Performance expectations: efficiency rating of 85% or above.

D-Level Technician

• Perform basic chassis and engine repairs
• Remove & install chassis components
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Competent in internal/factory warranty processes

C-Level Technician

• Basic diagnostic skills
• Comfortable with major vendor/factory repairs and procedures
• Perform most chassis and engine repairs
• Perform complete engine remove & install

B-Level Technician

• Advanced diagnostic skills
• Complete engine repairs within SRT time
• Complex chassis repairs within SRT time
• Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs
• HVAC

A-Level Technician

• Proficient on all vehicle component repairs
• Diagnose all vehicle component failures
• Competent in root cause failure analysis
• Vibration analysis
• Aftertreatment repairs & diagnostics

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Pass post‑offer drug test, physical, and background check

Compensation

• $33-$50/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Bonus incentive
