Pay Rate$16.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality customer service and assist maintenance teams in keeping common areas by the entrances and exits clean.
- Ensure customers have a seamless parking experience and facilitate expedient traffic flow through the facility.
- Assist customers with making payments to fully automated revenue‑control equipment.
- Go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.
- Manage day‑to‑day activities of the assigned location.
- Monitor parkers in pay‑in lanes and assist those who have forgotten where they parked.
- Conduct garage and facility audits as required by management.
- Count revenue at the beginning of each shift to ensure accurate totals and provide change and quotes for parking services.
- Give directions to city locations, resolve customer complaints, and answer the telephone promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility and pick up trash in surrounding areas.
- Present yourself professionally in uniform, arrive on time for scheduled shifts, and complete any other duties assigned by a supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience with automated parking access control hardware/software or a high aptitude for technology.
- Availability for 2nd, 3rd, weekend shifts as required.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license if required to drive a company vehicle.
- Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, make change.
- Language skills: read, write, and interpret English; present information to customers, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Reasoning ability: apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving a few variables.
- Adaptability: adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Judgment: exhibit sound and accurate judgment.
- Other skills: use of standard/military time clocks, calculators, credit‑card machines; maintain a pleasant demeanor on the telephone and in public; proactively lead by example and work a flexible schedule.
- Moderate to loud noise level.
- Moderate to high exposure to vehicle emissions.
- Moderate to high exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures.
- All weather conditions including precipitation and wind.
- High exposure to bright sunlight and nighttime working conditions.
Frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle objects, tools, or controls, and performing tasks requiring close vision. Employees must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, and maintain close vision throughout shifts.
