Physical Therapy Aide

ACES HOME HEALTH AND REHAB CLINIC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Physical Therapy Aide. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the treatment and care of our patients. Responsibilities:

· Assist the physical therapy team in providing treatment to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.

· Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.

· Schedule patient appointments, managing calendars, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

· Verify insurance coverage and process necessary paperwork.

· Navigate and maintain electronic medical records system with attention to detail.

· Handle faxing, scanning, and emailing of important documents.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment areas and common spaces.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a physical therapy aide is preferred, but not required.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient computer skills with experience in using electronic medical records systems.

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

· Willingness to contribute to light cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

· Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology.

Position Details:

· Part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week.

· Pay range: $16 to $22 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
