Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Redhill, Caterham, Dorking, Epsom,

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and is considering a future career in education.

You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils individually and in small groups to reinforce learning

  • Assist the class teacher with preparing resources and classroom activities

  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development

  • Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required

  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Support with playground duties and school activities as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have a genuine interest in working with children

  • Be patient, caring, and approachable

  • Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills

  • Be reliable, proactive, and willing to learn

  • Have GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)

  • Previous experience working with children (school, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.) is desirable but not essential
