What's in it for you Salary of £80,000 to £85,000 per year 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays Life assurance On-site parking Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence business strategy Lead financial improvement projects while developing and supporting a finance team Your responsibilities as Head of Finance Produce accurate monthly and annual financial reporting, including board packs and meaningful commentary Ensure statutory accounts and regulatory filings are completed in accordance with UK GAAP Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, HMRC, banking partners and investors Provide commercial financial support to the Group CFO and wider leadership team Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while maintaining high performance Deliver financial control improvements and lead key projects across the business What we're looking for in a Head of Finance Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Strong background leading finance functions within the retail sector Excellent technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP Proven ability to manage statutory reporting and external stakeholder relationships Experience implementing financial controls and driving business improvement Working hours Full-time, office-based.
