Maintenance​/Handy Person

Description

• We are looking for a full time Maintenance/Handy Person for our care home David Gresham House in Oxted, Surrey.
• Pay: £13.83 per hour with paid mileage of 45p per mile when travelling between our homes if using your own vehicle.
• The role is based in Oxted but there will be a requirement to travel to other homes in Surrey and Berkshire as required.
• You must have at least one year’s experience of working in a similar role to be considered for this position, be flexible and capable of working without supervision.

• Ensure that all delegated maintenance tasks with the home are carried out to a high standard.
• Promptly report any issues to the relevant Registered Manager and the Facilities Manager.
• Ensure that all records pertaining to mandatory checks and health and safety matters are maintained in the stated time frames.

You will report to the Facilities Manager.

Occasional callouts may be required outside of these hours.

You must hold a clean driving licence with use of your own vehicle.

• Live in a 10 mile radius of Oxted and be prepared to travel to other homes as necessary.
• Reliability with good time management skills.
• Be able to use initiative.
• UK driving licence and use of own car.
