We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee ourhigh-quality supported living services for adults with autism, mental healthneeds, learning disabilities, and complex behaviours. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred care in accordance with CQC regulations and best practice guidelines.
As the Registered Manager, you will lead the service with integrity, drive and compassion ensuring compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.

Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Surrey
Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports to: Director of Operations / Managing Director
Regulated Activity: Yes (CQC Registered Role)
About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred care in accordance with CQC regulations and best practice guidelines.
As the Registered Manager, you will lead the service with integrity, drive andcompassionensuring compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory and Compliance
- Hold and maintain registration with theCare Quality Commission (CQC).
- Ensure full compliance with the Healthand Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and associated guidance.
- Prepare for and lead on CQC inspections and maintain a rating of Good or Outstanding.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative, regulatory and policy developments relevant to the service.
Service Leadership
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary teamto deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs and outcomes.
- Promote a culture of openness,accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that services are responsive,inclusive, and adaptable to client needs.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery against agreed KPIs and quality standards.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Leadfor the service.
- Ensure timely reporting and robust management of safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
Staff Management and Development
- Recruit, supervise and develop staff,ensuring full compliance with safer recruitment practices.
- Deliver staff supervisions, appraisals,and performance management.
- Identify training needs and ensure the workforce is skilled, supported, and compliant with mandatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of learning, reflectivepractice, and professional development.
Client Careand Family Engagement
- Oversee assessments, support planning,reviews and transitions in partnership with clients, families, and professionals.
- Ensure support is outcome-focused,strengths-based and promotes independence.
- Build trusting relationships withfamilies, commissioners and external professionals.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a supported living or similar service.
- NVQ/QCFLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- In-depth understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, MCA, DoLS and PBS principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Abilityto lead with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and ethical integrity.
