Overview

The Club at North Downs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Golf Operations Assistant to join our team at Get Golfing. As a charity supporting struggling golf facilities in England, we are passionate about preserving and reviving the sport of golf by providing exceptional experiences for our members and visitors.

As a Golf Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf facility. You will be responsible for various tasks, including checking in golfers, managing tee times, assisting with golf equipment rentals, answering inquiries, and providing excellent customer service to our members and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our golf facility.

Responsibilities
  • A passion for golf and a basic knowledge of the sport.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with golfers and staff members.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with golf management systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift patterns would vary across the week from 5.30am through until 9pm with split shifts of early and later starts throughout the summer with shifts across the year dependent on sunlight and weather.
