Schedule: Part Time

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our Home Health team in Fort Payne. Our SLP provides expert patient‑centered care in a supportive and fulfilling environment.

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside therapy sessions.
• Document progress and clinical notes; submit visit documentation per agency policy.

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification.

This role is initially under Amedisys until January 1, 2026, after which employment will transfer to Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services. The employer provides all onboarding and benefits during the transition.
