Job Summary:

Piper Companies is seeking a Scientific Data Analyst III to support a company supporting the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL). This position is onsite in Fort Novosel, AL
.

Responsibilities for the Scientific Data Analyst III include:

• Acquire, manage, and analyze engineering, medical, and research datasets from multiple sources
• Develop algorithms and perform statistical analyses using MATLAB and related toolboxes
• Support data acquisition, signal processing, and quality assessment activities
• Maintain databases, file structures, and documentation to ensure reproducibility and compliance
• Collaborate with engineers, physicians, researchers, and technical stakeholders
• Prepare reports, presentations, analysis plans, and technical documentation
• Support biomechanics research, field data collection efforts, and inspection of research data quality

Required Qualifications for the Scientific Data Analyst III include:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
• Experience with MATLAB, numerical methods programming, and data analysis
• Background in data acquisition, signal processing, or scientific research environments
• Ability to analyze large datasets and develop custom analytical solutions
• Ability to obtain and maintain Associate Investigator credentials
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
• Ability to pass background and drug screening

Compensation for the Scientific Data Analyst III includes:

• Salary Range: $98,000k - $108,000k annually
• Full Benefits Package: provided in interview process
