• Perform flights and demonstrate proficiency during standardization flights on aircraft.
• Calculate performance data for takeoff, cruise, and landing configurations of aircraft in which the individual is qualified.
• Execute pre‑flight, in‑flight, and post‑flight procedures in accordance with company, Army or Air Force directives.
• Conduct operational ground checks (e.g., leak check, 14‑day run‑ups).
• Report findings and recommend corrections to ground personnel.
• Support maintenance test pilots during test flights, maintenance operation checks (MOC), aircraft recovery and ferry flights.
• Stay current on FAA and local flying regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in basic flight maneuvers, emergency procedures, and instrument flying per Army or Air Force publications and company requirements.
• Brief and demonstrate procedures to flight crew and non‑crew members.
• Engage in study, preparation, and personal development when not operating aircraft.
• Operate motor vehicles as required by duties.
• Participate in instrument flight simulator training.
• Possibly fly profile flights that include NVG and PNVS.
• Complete records in TAMMS‑A for aircraft and engine performance data.
• Record maintenance documentation accurately using Integrated Maintenance.

• Demonstrated ability to start, run‑up, fly, navigate, and land aircraft the applicant is qualified to operate.
• Valid and current FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with rotorcraft and instrument ratings in the aircraft class (fixed, rotary or both).
• Valid FAA Instrument rating for the designated aircraft class.
• Minimum of 250 pilot‑in‑command hours, Class II medical, FAA Commercial Pilot license, and an honorable discharge.
• Valid FAA or military Class II Medical Certificate.

High school diploma or equivalent – General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpolations necessary for aircraft and engine performance.

Must hold a valid and current FAA or military Class II Medical Certificate and undergo flight physicals annually.

Read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Valid state and/or government driver’s license, including CDL with hazardous material endorsement if required.
• Level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the government.
