We are looking for a Director of Human Resources to oversee all aspects of human resources and payroll practices and processes. What is a Director of Human Resources? To legislo the Director of Human Resources is the go-to person for all employee- related issues. This means that your duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management.

In keeping with the mission and values of Big Thunder Marine, and the pledge to maintain our presence as the premier watercraft dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks, the Director of Human Resources provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organizations HR operations. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

At all times the Director of Human Resources works to enhance our customer service experience and create lasting relationships with our clients.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define and implement the organization’s long‑term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s human resource and talent management functions.
  • Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to the human resource management team; assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
  • Maintains knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Reviews, Britt, and documents compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include leadership training, safety training, anti‑harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Re.people, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of:v'qualified job applicants dahil. for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations;…
