Fabrication Operator 2nd shift

Position Summary

Fabrication Operator a fabrics steel frames and parts for boat trailers. The position will be cross trained on all equipment including presses, drills, saws, plasma cutters, rail benders, cranes, and various hand tools. Operators will have primary workstations but will be cross trained in as many areas as possible.

• Follows daily schedules and produces required parts.
• Reads drawings and schematics to determine correct specifications of trailer parts.
• Operates machinery including presses, drills, saws, plasma cutters, rail benders, cranes, and various hand tools.
• Lifts and transports trailer rails and parts up to 50 lbs.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

• Minimum Degree
  
  Required:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Will be required to pass pulmonary function and fit test if wearing a respirator.
• Responsible for wearing PPE at all times based on the requirements of the job position.
