Reports Directly To
Liquor Assistant Manager and Liquor Manager

This is an entry-level job at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Liquor Manager in providing high-quality products to customers in a clean, friendly environment.

• To provide outstanding customer service
• To greet and thank every customer with whom you come into contact
• To assist the Liquor department with merchandising, preparation, conditioning, and stocking of products, as well as general maintenance of the department
• To ensure the highest quality of products for customers
• To keep displays full and visually appealing
• To monitor pricing and signage to ensure pricing integrity and report issues to the Liquor or Store Director
• To clean and maintain the department according to company standards, including the sales floor and walk-in cooler
• To keep sales floor and prep areas clean to reduce potential accidents
• To follow all safety guidelines
• To comply with all company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly while moving and handling materials. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about various work stations. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items to move objects toward areas of use. Ability to use knives and other sharp instruments used in food preparation and product removal from boxes.

This is medium work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, and the ability to lift, carry, stoop, kneel, stand, reach, push, and pull, including working on floors that may become slippery.
