This is an entry-level job at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Floral Manager in providing good quality products to our customers in a clean, friendly environment.

Floral Department Manager

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Greet and thank every customer you come into contact with
• Assist the Floral Manager in completing daily duties
• Comply with all company trim standards
• Assist in receiving trucks and breaking down loads into coolers
• Follow all safety guidelines and never bypass safety mechanisms
• Report any missing or non-functional safety mechanisms to the Floral Manager
• Rotate all items as they are stocked
• Use markdown coupons to reduce products nearing expiration
• Use merchandising areas properly to promote sales of ad items or items bought on deal

• Comply with all company policies including dress code and wearing a name tag

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Able to stand and move about to various work stations. Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects. Able to use knives and other sharp instruments for food preparation and product removal from boxes.

This is medium work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, and ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Work may involve slippery floors.
