Position Details: Full Time – Store Upper Level

Directs: Stock Crew Leader, Receiver, Stockers, Dairy/Frozen

Your role as a leader in the store will be to empower associates and solve problems through critical thinking.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining a well-stocked, well-merchandised, faced store. If both the store director and assistant store director are unavailable, you will assume their roles and assist with all store operations.

• Providing exceptional service to all clientele
• Training and preparing to cover the Store Director’s and Assistant Store Director’s roles in their absence
• Closing the store 4-5 nights per week
• Ordering groceries, frozen, and dairy products
• Maintaining the backroom, grocery shelving, frozen, and dairy departments daily

• Training and developing employees to ensure a stable, qualified workforce
• Scheduling department employees
• Directing stock crew
• Maintaining honest relationships with team members, vendors, and suppliers
• Fostering a disciplined, respectful work environment using critical thinking and conflict resolution skills

• Communicating with management and staying updated on policies and training
• Maintaining records in compliance with regulations and policies
• Adhering to company policies, including dress code and name tags

Ability to lift 60 lbs., exert force frequently, and handle materials safely. Must have dexterous use of both hands, stand, move between workstations, and operate sharp tools safely. This role involves medium physical work requiring good vision and hearing, and the ability to work on floors that may be slippery.
