Junior Bookkeeper position available in Paarl.

We are currently looking for a Junior Bookkeeper for a permanent position based in Paarl, Western Cape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform shipping reconciliations and analyse shipping costs.
Process payments and bank transactions.
Manage SASA rebate administration.
Complete credit card reconciliations and related administration.
Assist with fixed asset administration.
Process ad hoc invoicing.
Maintain accurate financial records and transaction processing.
Provide general financial administration and support to the finance team.

Requirements:

Matric with a relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification.
1-3 years' relevant bookkeeping experience.
Agricultural processing experience preferred.
Previous creditors clerk experience.
SAIPA articles advantageous.
Experience with shipping reconciliations and payment processing.
Experience processing bank transactions.
Syspro or similar ERP system experience advantageous.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Well organised and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work under pressure and effectively within a team.
